Micromechatronics, Inc. introduces the world's first high voltage piezoelectric converter product line. This technology is available through three DC/DC evaluation modules rated at 2kVdc/4W; 5kVdc/5W and 10kVdc/5W.

The converters operate under an input voltage of 8 to 14 Vdc. They are fully regulated against changes of the input voltage and the output load. The output voltage can be controlled from 0 to 100% using a control pin. Control voltages of 0 to 2.1V and 0 to 10V are available depending the model.

The use of non-magnetic technology to achieve high voltage generator, make these converters ideal for medical, military and space applications where magnetic signature can jeopardize the application reliability.

Other applications include pulse generators, ignition systems, laser power supplies, night vision devices, spectrometers, and traveling wave tubes for space communications.
